Soak Up the Sun

Hello,

How was your holiday weekend? I hope you had a great one. The weather couldn't have been better here in San Diego county. Nothing but sun, sun, sun! It was a perfect beach weekend and great inspiration to create a card for The Paper Player's "Let's Go To the Beach" challenge.

As you can see, I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch 226 for my layout.

The papers and wooden embellishment are from the Taylored Expressions July Key Ingredients kit. The stamps are also Taylored Expressions.

After stamping the chairs and coloring them with Copics, I make masks, then used my Copic Air Brush system to make the sand, sea and sky. The umbrella is paper pieced and popped up with dmensionals. The wooden beach ball is colored with Copics too.

Supplies
Stamps: A Day In Paradise set by Taylored Expressions
Paper: TE red, light blue and Choice Snow white card stock and Echo Park "Summer Bliss" patterned papers
Ink: MFT Hybrid Black Licorice and Copics
Other: Copic Air Brush system, Queen and co wooden beach ball, dimensionals, SU glue dots

I hope you all have a great work week. Mine will be super busy.

Thanks for looking in,
Colleen
